1981 Lancer Motorsailor

Hello everybody
I am considering to buy one 1981 Lancer Motorsailor 44
Has no boom and I read in some old publications that she can point up to 35 degrees in the wind
Is she a good sailor ? is there something I should know about this boat? She has two Perkins 85 ea

Sorry Manos , I know nothing about the Lancer . The only reason I'm responding is that the designer of the Lancer , Herb David is the same guy that designed my boat , a Westsail 28 . Lancers were built in Irvine Ca. to high standards , as were the Westsails , built close by in Costa Mesa Ca.
