1965 alberg sloop

hello ive read alot on alberg sailboats as 1965 is old im not looking at it being mint but think it is a nice starter boat but would like and feedback possible it a 35 foot has a few updates looks to be in pretty good shape ied have it surveyed before ied think about buying it but is it capable to be a blue water cruiser at that age and would it be worth while to try to set up solar panels and a wind generator i also was reading on semi electric deisal conversions and they seem like the could work out well if properly used and feedback welcomed also its a sloop rig would it be a ok single hander thanks much

Sound and solid lay up, you won't find a much better designed boat.... but I am kinda of partial... with a 1964 ALberg desigend boat.
