Nuclear is a limited resource. The total energy stored in known reserves of nuclear are a small fraction of the known reserves of fossil fuels.

Not sure about the above if you take thorium into account and also the breeders?

At the moment the biggest problem with nuclear is all the baggage that has been attached to it by scare mongering and fee farming lawyers and alternate agenda bureaucrats.

Now we are talking and the topic of Nuclear power in my view exposes the fraud of the MMGW movement....follow me here.

Lets say I'm in the bag and have swallowed hook, line, and sinker that Man's use of fossil fuels is the main driver of Global Warming. I have kids and I want to have Grand kids one day. So I look around and ask, "what are my choices, what can I do to save the world for my kids and grand kids?"

Do I dramatically change my life and the life of the world economy by turning off the lights and stop driving cars?

OR

Do we build Nuclear power plants like Starbucks around the County and then convert to electric cars.

So the world gets to continue pretty much as is with small tweaks with a 100% non-CO2 releasing power source OR we shut it all down?

Bingo...
The very fact that the EcoFacists are also against Nuclear power when it could completely solve the problem they say will kill is, tell me what?
It tells me their agenda isn't about stopping CO2....it's about Power, Money and control.

I Love Nuclear power and the newer designs make it impossible for a melt down even if cooling water is lost. The waste is minimal and it solved the Big Oil Addiction problem.

Actually no...it was my prior life in Pollution control and measurement that gave me my background, other than that (like having actually been to power plants and measured their emissions in the process of installing and adjusting pollution control systems) its just good old common sense and data analysis. When was the last time you were at a power plant working on the facilities emission controls? Never?...oh...

Power and Money?
Question: What happens to all the hundred of millions of dollars all the Climate Research centers and Climate Change related agencies get if man isn't the problem? What happens to all the Grants and Education Departments and Department chairs? Do they then start working on turning lead to gold? Or do they go out and enjoy the Obama recovery and hit the job search market?........

I'll stand somewhat corrected. This lady seems to have once been an AGW supporter that became disillusioned by the constant "sky is falling" and stifled debate and has progressively become skeptical of the more dire predictions on global warming.

On a side note, skepticalscience.com and to a lessor degree realclimate.org remind of creationist web sites. Realclimate at least is convincing enough, but skepticalscience is just trying it on way too hard!
