Smile Wanting to Crew-Beginner Woman

Hola,
I am new, just flew in from Canada yesterday.
Looking to learn sailing by crewing day trips or short trips for this month, potential longer hauls after I learn more. I am in Mexico till at least Feb.2022. Perhaps longer... I am a hardworking, strong, fit, and kind woman. I get along with most people. I am working remotely but it only takes up a few hours of my time during the week. I also speak fluent English and Spanish and I am near Marina Colonia. I love the water and open ocean and I have been dying to learn this skill for years....now it's time. I am available via email, Whatsapp, Messenger, Insta, etc.

Thank you kindly,

Lis

Marina Colonia sounds muy buena.

Even mas bueno would be to conocer which city this Marina Colonia was in. Mexico is a rather large country with east and west coasts - and even its own Sea of Cortez.

If you can make your way up to Ensenada sometime this week I will be taking a Beneteau 38 from Ensenada to Los Angeles. It is in Baja Naval getting the bottom stripped. Then maybe you could find a berth on a boast doing the Baja HaHa back to Cabo. I'd be willing to get you to San Diego if anyone would take you for that.

Mark 310-293-2354. I'll let the rest of you know how it goes at Baja Naval when I get the bill.

Re: Wanting to Crew-Beginner Woman

Please contact me if you're still in the area late November. I have a Pacific Seacraft 34 in Paradise Marina (Nuevo Vallarta, just up the road) that I want to finish detailing, sail around the bay and eventually get to LaPaz and further north next year. I'm old (72) and nap a lot so you would have plenty opportunity to work on your sailing skills. gyfox131@gmail.com

Hola Lis,
If you have / can get access to a VHF radio, you can reach the cruisers in PV on channel 22 each morning. I think 8:00 am? A quick introduction on the net will likely find you many friendly folks who would be more than willing to have you aboard! Good luck!
