We're a young couple passionate to learn everything we can about sailing and the
live aboard lifestyle. My partner and I think it's best we crew and learn from experienced sailor(s) before we take the plunge and buy our own
live aboard. Some info about us:
- 27f (me)/28m currently living in Austin, Texas
- Work in data analytics and digital marketing
- both very active and comfortable with physical labor
- Skills we have to offer; cooking (me), repairs and maintenance (him), cleaning (both), quick to learn and fix new technology (both)
- Basic sailing experience (ASA 101) and a plethora of literature
Additionally, we both have a strong willingness to learn, pick up new methods quickly and have strong
work ethic. Our hope is to
work hard to learn the realities of sailing while having a great experience. We're looking to set sail sometime March - June and from almost anywhere in the U.S. or
Caribbean, so we're pretty flexible! Duration would ideally be one to two weeks.
