Looking for opportunities to crew for general cruising OR passage around/from Tampa Bay/SW Florida/Gulf Coast. Generally time-flexible, often available on short notice.



Experienced “Boat Guy” with 50 years of small boat experience, and about 3 years sailing over those years. Good physical condition, Engineer by trade, good mechanical skills, good cook, skin/scuba diver, generally easy-going, but safety-minded. Moderate alcohol, no drugs (and seeking same).



Would like to improve my skills with 30ft+ sailboats (just in case I buy one), see some nice places, and meet other boat-people with similar interests. Would enjoy coastal cruising or a trip to Dry Tortugas, snorkeling, fishing, etc.



Wife is also available sometimes, not as experienced, but she makes a mean boat-drink, and is helpful with logistics.
