Recreational crew wanted Gulfport, MS

Hello, I own a 1989 Catalina 30 tall rig and am looking for someone to sail with me. I am there every other weekend (July 14, 15, 16) and have no one to sail with. Single handing is getting boring and I keep making reasons to not go out, so I need company. You can be experienced and teach me what you know if you want, or you can be a total noob and I'll teach you what I know, if you want. Day sails or weekends at an island. Male or female. Beer and smoke friendly boat, but no drugs. And I have a 15 pound female dog who comes with me.

Re: Recreational crew wanted Gulfport, MS

I live in Ocean Springs and am (mostly) always available. I have fair amount of sailing experience including a Gulf crossing. I'm looking to buy my own boat soon to liveaboard.

Re: Recreational crew wanted Gulfport, MS

I live in Bay Saint Louis. My children bought for me on father's day a 1984 Hunter 25.5. Currently going through it top to bottom. No major issues found. I sailed on a Cal 33 many years ago but that was it. So I am a noob. I am a retired deputy sheriff, so I am with you on the dope. I drink beer and make my own wine and smoke too much. Would love to learn as I am planning a coastal cruise to Key West and maybe a little beyond. Thanks.
