Aboard my 43' feet Privilege catamaran GALAWA II , I am planning to sail from Panama around December 20, 2019 to Galapagos (900 milles , 6 days) , stay 1 week in Galapagos, and sail further (3000 miles, some 22 days) to the Marquises Island.
I am looking for 2 or 3 crews.
Sharing food expenses.

What sort of experience are you looking for in a sailor? I may be interested, but only have racing experience rather than cruising experience at the moment.

No Offshore experience is required (by the time we shall have reached Marquesas, you will have graduated in this field ).
Some sailing skill obviously required lest you be useless and get bored aboard
Good humor and friendly companionship appreciated.
Smoking frowned upon,
Musical skill appreciated (but flute or harmonica rather than piano which we do nat have aboard ).
Good reading habit always usefull on a long crossing.
Open minded conversation.

My wife and I are interested in your crew opportunity. What we lack in experience we'll make up by our enthusiasm and energetic approach to the adventure. I'm a jack of all trades handyman and my wife is an awesome cook. We have not done a major passage but have taken several ASA courses and done some coastal cruising and dingy sailing. My wife speaks a little French and we both love a good laugh.

I'm Arwed and I've been sailing since 1982, so I'm quite old, but I'm still quite fit. In 2016 I crossed the Atlantic as a watchleader and now I would like to cross at least a part of the Pacific. Preferably from Panama to French Polynesia.
I have the SHSS (German certificate similar to ¥achtmaster ocean).
Skippered on Bareboats in the Med, Caribbean, Seychelles, Adria app. 10 00 sm. Pretty experienced in navigation. Can cook, but I am not very mechanically gifted.
However, I belong to the few remaining smokers. (Cigarillos and from time to time also a cigar). Outside in lee. I would be happy about an answer.

I am available to serve as crew, say, as mate, on your passage from Panama to French Polynesia via the Galapagos this coming January. Please see sailing resume attached for my qualifications, capabilities, references, and contact information.

It is understood that you would not be paying my travel or food expenses. That would not present an insurmountable problem. Unless you do not allow fishing!
