Okeechobee Waterway-Westbound Nov 21-25

I'm planning to move my boat from Indiantown Marina to St Petersburg FL beginning this Saturday. My two friends who had planned to join me just canceled, so I'm looking for one or two people who might be interested to join for all or part of the trip. Hoping to leave early Saturday morning heading West along the waterway. The first day will involve doing the limbo under the Port Mayaca railway bridge. I'm 1' too tall to pass, so will need to induce about 15 degrees of heel to safely make it under. First night will be stopping at Moore Haven, second night in Ft. Meyers and then the rest of the trip is weather/crew dependent. May stay in the Northbound waterway or go offshore for the last 120 or so miles.

The boat is a 1984 Wauquiez Gladiateur 33 with a newer diesel engine (less than 200 hours. Just spent a few days prepping the boat and she is ready. Crew would need to make their own arrangements to get to Indiantown and then back home. I'll pay for all marina fees, diesel and food while onboard (not meals on shore).

Please write if you have questions or want more info about me or the boat.

Matt

Hello, Are you still looking for a couple to help with crewing the boat? We are traveling around/camping in State Parks by St. Petersburg, Florida. We would love to go sailing!
