Norfolk, VA to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in Nov 2021

Looking for crew to assist in moving my 41 ft 2015 Jeanneau (2 cabins / 2 heads) from Norfolk, VA to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Departure date will be determined by weather, hoping for the 1st week in November. Plan is to head outside at Norfolk, round Cape Hatteras, and stay inside the Gulf Stream the entire way South. If weather doesn't cooperate for a safe Cape passage I will opt to take The Ditch from Norfolk to Beaufort, NC and then head out from there.

I will cover voyage costs (fuel, food, etc.), you are responsible for your travel to/from boat expenses. Blue water experience preferred. Non-smokers and Covid vaccinated preferred. No alcohol during passage (I will happily buy 1st round when we arrive at destination!).

Thanks,
Andrew

I'm just figuring out this site once again. I might be interested?! How do I found out more about you and the boat? how long would it possibly take? I had an apartment once in Fort Lauderdale.
Thanks! Eileen

Hey Andrew,

just wanted to drop a line to see if you were still looking for crew on your upcoming passage. I am potentially interested.

My experience level is that of a beginner, but I am keen to learn, and have extensive experience traveling and adventuring so I can at least tell some entertaining stories.

anyways let me know if you are still looking and I can get more info to you about who I am and what I am up to.

best to contact via email as I dont check this often.

cheers

Hello Andrew,

I have availability over Thanksgiving (11/24-11/29) if that works in your timetable. I previously owned a Cat 22 and am looking for experience before purchasing another boat for an Atlantic crossing.

Thanks for your Consideration,

David

Hi Andrew, I'm interested if you're still looking. I'm a lifelong sailor. My family and I sail extensively on Lake Ontario aboard our C&C 29. Previously we kept our C&C 36 on Georgian Bay.

Let me know if you'd like to chat.

Best,

T
