Crew Available: Motor yacht ocean experience wanted

I need to gain experience of ocean crossing because I own a Nordhavn 40 motor yacht which I want to cruise from UK to USA via Caribbean in 2018 and the insurers need me to have ocean experience before they will let me skipper my boat on a transatlantic passage. I am therefore looking for a position as volunteer crew on a motor yacht for an ocean crossing, Atlantic either direction or whatever else is available.
I am 65, healthy & fit, sane and sober. I hold a British passport with no undesirable country stamps & current ESTA. I have no criminal record in any country.
I have RYA Day Skipper and ICC, basic maintenance and fault-finding skills on diesel engines and motor yacht equipment, and good situation awareness and anticipation skills. I can prepare basic meals but sadly I am not what you would call a good cook. I can provide good references and will ask for them in return.
