Crew Wanted: Miami to Aruba - mid Dec., mid Jan.

61' Bruce Robert ketch (1986) is looking for one additional crew.
Sailing program: One month to go from Miami to Aruba through the Bahamas, Haiti, Bonaire and Curacao.
We plan not to hurry but rather to discover the places we will sail through.
We will avoid sailing in bad weather.
Current crew: 2 males, 1 female, all in their 50s, + 2 cats
You will have your own cabin on board.
Boat's expenses are covered by the Captain.
We share the cost of the food/drinks.
You are responsible for your personal expenses including eventual visas.
Our female crew member is a great French cook.

We are currently sailing the boat down the ICW. The departure date from Miami will depend on our arrival there.

I'm currently sailing down to Key West, just stopped in Coconut Grove, Dinner Key for a couple evenings. I will be available to crew after mid- December and as late as December 26th.

I am new to sailing, but have been enjoying learning everything. I am a 36 year old single woman. I own and operate a seasonal tourism business in Canada and am traveling/working this winter for a change. Check out my profile for more information.

I've through-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 1999, for over 6 months and 3,400km. Also, completed a 50-day canoe trip from Winnipeg to Lake Superior paddling over 1,000km in 2006. Adventure and experiential learning is my life!

I'm a 46 y/o male, own a 33' sailboat now on the hard in new york. I do not have passage experience but looking forward to. I'm a systems architect with location independent work arrangment and flexibility in my schedule. Im in miami now and would becwilling to make myself available for cruising december to January.

Hello Paul.
I just completed a similar trip in the eastern Atlantic. Assisting the owner of a 43' Beneteau. we departed South Hampton UK, crossed the English Channel, Bay of Biscay, out and around Portugal, down through The straight of Gibraltar, and across the Eastern Med, finished in Croatia. my self and the owner with a third revolving crew position. We went over 3,000 miles in about 45 days, making quick stops. enjoying over 8 countries several continents.
I have also crewed on 65' catamaran down west coast of Baja Peninsula, San Diego to Puerto vallarta.
i have charter experience in the caribbean.
