We’re a group of three friends on a
Hunter 40.5 considering making a crossing in early April from
La Paz to the
Marquesas. The
boat is pretty decently outfitted for a crossing, and we’re planning on spending the next month making final preparations. However, we’re missing any serious long term
passage making experience (and limited heavy
weather experience) and we’re looking for someone to join who can offer experience there. My friend and I who own the
boat have sailed it down to
Baja from
San Francisco, and our other friend who is joining joined for a 700 mile leg of that trip. That’s the full extent of our cruising experience. We are easy going, careful, hard working, and learn quickly. We can cover full expenses.
