Malaysia to Hong Kong
Hi All,
My 46ft sailboat is in Malaysia, very near the East side of Singapore.
I am looking for a team to sail the boat to Hong Kong.
It is a 1999 Hunter, with a good recent survey report, new rigging and sails in 2017.
The boat is well equipped for such trip, with autopilot, AIS, radar, watermaker etc.
Please let me know if you are interested, and we can further discuss.
Best wishes.
Baris

Re: Malaysia to Hong Kong
Hi Baris, the term "team" can indicate you are looking for a skipper and crew. If this is the case, I would certainly like to have more information if I were to be skipper.
Thanks
Martin

Re: Malaysia to Hong Kong
Hi Martin,
Thank you for reaching out.
I would be open to the idea if you are interested in the skipper position.
I want to participate as well.
Will you please advise what sort of support would you require for such trip?
Thank you.
Baris

Will you be providing transportation to and from the boat?

When are you planning to leave? How many total crewmembers do you want?

Re: Malaysia to Hong Kong
Hi Sjm,
In terms of dates I am looking at late August or sometime in September.
I believe I need at least 2 competent people to be min 3 onboard.
Thanks.

Hi Baris!
Did you manage to fill your crew positions already? I’m currently in Langkawi and would love to join.
Let me know!
Thanks,
Sam Tippetts

Re: Malaysia to Hong Kong
Are you still in HK? I am looking for a ride out of HK. I grew up sailing and racing sailboats, but have not sailed offshore much, with the exception around Long Island and NYC. The largest box as t I have owned was a Bristol 28 in 2014.

Re: Malaysia to Hong Kong
Hi Yada, I suggest you to talk to the people at the sailing clubs around HK, to locate a ride.
Nixon Tank Girl, yes the trip has been completed last September.
All the best.
