Hi!
My boyfriend and I are looking for a
crewing position on a recreational,
cruising sailboat. We just completed a leisurely sail from
Rhode Island to
Fort Lauderdale, FL (departed October 15) and are looking for our next adventure! We’re not looking for a paid position and are willing to share expenses.
We are energetic, fun loving, easy to get along with and have a passion for sailing and the
water. We both are well qualified with lots of sailing experience and
work well together.
We’ve owned and maintained our own
boats (motor and sail) most of our lives and truly enjoy
boat projects and the challenge that comes along with them.
Experience with
Navionics and
Garmin chart plotting as well as the old fashion ‘paper chart’ course plotting.
We love
children and wouldn’t mind helping out with
kids on board. We raised 6
kids between the two of us.
Most of our sailing experience has been around the
New Jersey shore but we have chartered and captained sailboats in The Chesapeake,
Grenada,
BVI,
California,
Mediterranean and
Mexico.
