Crew Wanted: First Mate Wanted; Eastern Caribbean Cruising Catamaran

Hello everyone.

I am looking for a qualified live aboard crew member.

I am a young skipper with a 47’ wooden catamaran currently in Tobago.

There is a cook onboard and we have a regular rotation of “crew” however they are generally not that experienced/handy when it comes to boat jobs outside of cleaning and basic stuff. Generally easier to do things yourselves then try to bring these folks up to speed.

I am a bit swamped with maintenance tasks/ongoing refit projects and would welcome aboard an experienced sailor to team up with me on some of these projects.

If you retired from cruising but want to get back out there without the hassle of buying another boat then maybe this is your ticket.

Engine work maintenance, electronics work & refits, wood/epoxy work and varnishing.

The boat is in commission and is actively cruising the Caribbean with SVG and SXM on the schedule from here in Tobago before the years end. Comfortable and ready to go, but I aim to keep her Bristol and an extra qualified hand would go a long way.

The only strict requirement for this position is that you previously owned a sailboat, the longer you owned it the better.

If someone out there is interested, this is not a paid position but I will cover room and board.
