Working professional, located in
California, have sailed and raced for just over 20 years, including high-performance
catamaran racing. Looking into
buying my own 40-50' cruising
catamaran in the next year or two; in the meantime looking to crew on 38'+ cats for deliveries, as working crew on charters, etc.
Have
skipper single-handed up to 45' cats and sailed / skippered (with crew)
boats up to 60'. Extensive
racing and tuning
experience, so can provide assistance / input on optimizing the performance,
rigging, etc. on a
boat as well. Also very handy with tools for
boat work,
repairs, etc.
Late-40's,
engineer, grad degree, easy-going Midwestern personality. No hard drugs, don't smoke, social drinker, enjoy playing cards, kitesurfing, longboard surfing,
scuba diving. Willing to join a laid-back, responsible person/group for a
charter,
passage,
delivery, etc.
