Yep, it's certainly turned out to be one of the more amusing trolls.

I usually ask pointed questions when I get an inquiry like this that are designed to raise any red flags right off, this post see,s to effectively covered those bases already.
16k would be a deal to move a lightweight Bavaria this far against prevailing conditions. Good luck making there without significant repairs.

Except for the start it is downwind tradewinds pretty much the entire way. Hard to call that against.

Good point. You could choose to take the Red Sea. Save some miles, add a lot of motoring. Me, I sail downwind at these prices.

I guess delivery mode takes the fun out of it, even if its downwind tradewinds.

like everything, from wriggly rudderbearing, under-dimensioned blocks that exploded, leaking hull-deck-joint & portlight & hatches, autopilot, ...-btw: if you have to ask you obviously nevwer sailed a boat across an ocean...
in the olden days delivery prices used to be either $1/nm & all expenses paid or $2/nm all inclusive.

Re: Expenses Paid+ flights & bonuses-Spain to Australia

even the very best-prepaired boats, sailed by their cautious owners well below their speed potential, ALL arrive in the Marquesas with a to-do list (& a to-buy/replace list!) after their East-Pacific crossing.
One usually has a to do list even at anchor, after everything that has cropped up on passage has been taken care of, as one continuously discovers new "projects" if one is only a little bit vigilant.
(Of course some people have no "list" - this often gets very expensive for them.

Re: Expenses Paid+ flights & bonuses-Spain to Australia

...ah yes, when your "urgent-repairs" list is down to not-life/boat-threatening things you can start on the maintenance, like stripping down winches & windlass,...
We actually had finished (yes totally) our to-do list! This was a day before the new owner moved onto the boat & we said goodbye to her...

One thing she did not say was whether the 2 crew were a supplement to herself and ?partner..
In which case it could be a nice trip for people wanting to experience a S Pacific crossing.. but the time line is unrealistic.

I like this line best.
"...While cruising, time spent working is watch and manning the boat when necessary, the rest of the time you are free to do as you wish..."
(it's also the giveaway, that she/he is trolling!)
