Well.. its official.. the New Season has begun..
Just got my first booking of the year, a Lagoon450 from Spain to Greece where the owner will collect it for a summer enjoying the Islands.
Even nicer is the fact its a repeat customer.. always nice when a customer comes back, it means they were happy with my services and the condition of the boat on arrival.
Anyway.. I am booked for 2 weeks in April but am available from now till the 1st week of April and the last week of April onwards.
Perfect for West-East Transats or anything else that may be required.. Med, W Europe and further.. or just a local (Europe) quickie in March.

I need a delivery skipper for a Lagoon 400/2010 from Tortola to Gibraltar,
mid May.
Boat needs a refit (interior) as it was damaged by hurricane.
Boat is fully functional:
new sails- rigging checked by professionals.
new steering
new raymarine navigation bundle
one engine new- one engine not functional
any additional info on demand

last time i delivered a lagoon 440 we lost an engine,manouevering with only one engine from a standstill proved to be very difficult,as was getting on and off of docks.
reversing, the boat would only go in circles.
in my opinion i would not class the boat as fully functional with only one engine!

having a dinghy and outboard to assist would be essential for close quarters movements,which you have not mentioned in your list of attributes

Agree.. had problems getting into Queensway Marina in Gib with just one engine capable of reverse, had to go bow in and its a tight place.. just one engine would be impossible.
Alternate charging facilities if any???
Would need a lot more info and details of damage and repairs.. seem to remember damage to stern and bottoms from your threads last year..

I would suggest you arrange for an engine repair somewhere local to where the boat is.
I don't want to mess up someone's advert thread. To much. I doubt if most reputable delivery companies would be prepared to deliver the boat with a major deficiency. Insurance and liability issues are just to great.
If the boat is in a location where a repair cant be made. If its all approved by insurance. A delivery company may be willing to move to the nearest location a repair can be made.
