I've got one boat booked for a Pacific Cup return, but there is time for another. I've delivered a Passport 40 and I like Perry designs. When did or will the boat go over to Hawaii?

Thanks for getting back to me. I am heading to Hawaii in April or May. Planning on spending a few months there and then I will have to get back to CA and have the boat delivered back mid-late summer. I've owned a Fair Weather Mariner 39 mostly in San Diego for about 18 years and in December 2015 sailed her to Hawaii with my daughter. I intended to sail her home in fall of 2016, but my regular maritime job required I be at sea concurrent with the scheduled return of my boat and since I couldn't be at two places (or sailing two vessels) at the same time, I had my boat delivered home. Brian Caldwell, one of the most experienced delivery captains based in Hawaii, did the return delivery and did a fine job.

I googled Brian Caldwell, pretty amazing guy! Thanks for the tip. I bought my fwm39 in San Diego about 2 years ago. I am going to single hand to Hawaii. I would love to connect with you for some advice.

I’ve done a Big Island to Port Townsend double hand, several deliveries up and down the West coast in power and sail boats, through the Panama Canal to San Diego, two central Mexico to SoCal deliveries, and three bashes - spring, summer, and winter - in the past three years.
