Deliveries by 100 Ton USCG Master/ ASA Instructor
Greetings!
I am currently committed through early September for long runs, but booking jobs beginning mid-September. Following is a little about me.
Covid- I have had both doses of Morderna and restrict my deliveries to inoculated customers and crew. The worst thing to happen is to be in the middle of nowhere and have someone with serious symptoms.
Qualifications- I am a 100 Ton USCG Master, Sailing Endorsement, ASA Instructor and am a contributing author to Practical Sailor, having had 5 articles published. As Master, I have delivered boats from Panama/Grenada to Boston to Gibraltar, as well as many, many ports in-between on vessels ranging from a PSC Flicka to a 64 Jeanneau and cats to 54’.
About your delivery- Underway, the safety of the crew and vessel are always the #1 priority. We rig jack lines before departing and most nights the watch-keeper is required to clip in. Owners are always welcome to crew their deliveries. Once we reach our destination, additional training can be arranged.
For offshore deliveries I carry an Iridium GO and download weather twice a day. This information is ported to PredictWind Pro routing software that uses your vessels sailing and motoring polars to route your vessel as safely and efficiently as possible. More importantly, it allows us to avoid high winds and seas to avoid damage along the way.
Tracking- All deliveries can be tracked through my Garmin inReach. If you are not aboard, you always know where your vessel is!
How to learn more- Please contact me through my profile, a link to my website appears there also. Feel free to check my website and some of my posts here to understand a little more about me and to understand how your boat will be treated.

Re: Deliveries by 100 Ton USCG Master/ ASA Instructor
The vessel I was to be delivering in Nov, developed major mechanical issues.
So I have an opening Nov 1 until Thanksgiving.

Re: Deliveries by 100 Ton USCG Master/ ASA Instructor
Looking for qualified captain. I have my ASA certificates and have sailed quite a bit on lake Pontchartrain near New Orleans.
I am looking to sail to south Florida, gain some additional offshore experience, and continue down to V.I. after hopefully finding a crew and spending some time around the keys/southern Florida.
I have a 1980 Cal Jensen MKII,
Boat was refitted extensively in 2019, minus the interior, which I am refitting as we speak. I can send list of updated items and additional photos, or speak to you if you wish. Hoping to get underway in next couple of weeks. Thanks.

Re: Deliveries by 100 Ton USCG Master/ ASA Instructor
Hi -- Just saw your post. I need to get my boat Orion back down to St. Thomas in November. (1380nm 9-11 days)
Looking to leave early/mid November (ideally 11/7)
She is a 2019 Lagoon 42 Catamaran in excellent condition. Google sail-orion if you want to see more of what she looks like.
I myself sailed her up from the BVIs this past July to Annapolis. She has 4 cabins/4 heads. 2x low engine hour 57hp yanmars, new B&G electronics w/ radar, generator, solar, water-maker, iridium fixed installed, and life raft. I also just fitted her with a Code Zero as well. I already have most of the equipment such as ditch bag, jacklines, offshore vests, satellite, radio etc from the last passage.
So far I have myself and a friend signed on to crew her, but could use an extra hand. We are a fun loving group. Orion has a youtube channel so you learn more about me. Please let me know if interested in joining the trip.
Thanks,
Sri
