Crew wanted, Key West to Rio Dulce Guatemala
Hello CF.
Looking to fill out our crew with one more member for a delivery from Key West to the Rio Dulce, Guatemala in mid September, weather permitting of course.
This is an unpaid position but all on board expenses will be covered.
Boat is a well appointed 56' CNSO Mikado cutter ketch and you would have a private stateroom.
Looking for someone with bluewater experience. Current crew has mainly great lakes and coastal experience.
We anticipate that the trip would be 6-9 days with no planned stops. Once in Rio, you are welcome to stay on the boat for a couple of weeks and enjoy the area.
Thanks in advance for your interest.
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
I noticed your post concerning your seeking crew for a KW to Guatemala delivery. This is a sail I've made once before and I'd be very interested in hearing more of your plans.
61 year old retired firefighter/paramedic. Don't know it all but have quite a bit of offshore delivery experience, a CV and plenty of references.

I would edit your post so as to obscure your email from bots.... or you’ll get even MORE Viagra spam!

Re: Crew wanted, Key West to Rio Dulce Guatemala
Hello Jeff,
That looks like a very comfortable boat! I would love to join you on that delivery but unfortunately I don't have the blue-water experience you are looking for. I have a profile on "OceanCrewLink" if yo care to take a look, Ref 29558.
Is this a new boat for you? I see one listed on YachtWorld.com in Titusville.
Cheers and hope you have a great voyage.
Brian

Re: Crew wanted, Key West to Rio Dulce Guatemala
Hey Jeff,
How was the passage to Rio Dulce? We spoke on the phone before your trip about me joining up with you there and helping with the move to SF via Hawaii. Just checking in and wondering if you're still looking and what your itinerary is looking like.
Hope all is well.
Brett

Cliff!
I'm 61 and just retired in December after 37 as a professional ff/paramedic as well!
I will email you... but have you had much success finding gigs here? I've been a Member for a long time but haven't interacted much.
If anyone else wants to contact me, please do!
I've not been sailing in a long time but I do have blue-water experience and I speak spanish moderately well.
