Regatta Series Caribbean, Jan-May 2025, crew wanted.
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to Race in the Caribbean, amazing places, weather and perfect sailing conditions to show off your serious sailing skills
Sailing Vessel is a 39 ft Dufour Cruiser/Racer; Up to 12 crew; new standing & running rigging, new racing sails.
Participation
Training with Team is expected, although we are flexible. You may Join for just 1, 2 or a few Races/Regattas, but preference will be given to those who can continue through more of the schedule.
Competency
Sailing/racing experience is preferred, a minimum sailing competency and resilience, health & Fitness is expected, Multi-day races such as RORC 600, Antigua>Bermuda & Windward 500. are particularly Challenging. Experience racing symmetrical spinnaker is a bonus.
Scheduled Training
Many of the coastal regattas are 2-3 days of proper racing (over weekend) so theoretically you could fly in just for the weekend (and be home for the work week) but practice and round island races do happen during the week, which is important team building. Will be working with Crew to best schedule this.
The Team
We are a diverse professional group with 2 boats (1 racing, 2 support boat) with a wealth of sailing experience, we are a polite inclusive crew and we sail a well equipped fast sailing vessel.
