Crew Wanted: Captain or Instructor Wanted from Marina Del Rey to San Diego

We are buying a boat in Marina Del Rey and need to bring it down to San Diego. We aren't sure of the dates yet, but it could be sometime during the last week of August or the first or second week of September. We will know much more on Friday, August 23rd, when we are having the sea trial and survey done.

We are looking for a captain or instructor who can help us sail the 40 foot Catalina down. We have taken most of the ASA classes, but have not actually sailed on our own.

Anyone interested? We can pay a reasonable, agreed-upon fee.

Thanks so much for the reply. We might have friends flying in to help us. However, if they can't make it, I am trying to find an alternative. However, we are hoping to find an experienced sailor in the area who could help us, as needed. We don't really need a full service boat transportation company like yours.
