Captain For Hire

Its almost that time of year again where boats want to head south! I’m a professional credentialed captain with over 10,000 ocean miles. If anyone is headed south and needs assistance or just wants their vessel delivered please feel free to contact me. I’ve included a .pdf with my c/v for your convenience!

Fair Winds,
Capt. Dolby

Re: Captain For Hire

I need to get my 28 ft Beneteau from Annapolis, MD to N. Myrtle Beach, SC. Can you tell me what you provide and how much it will cost?

Re: Captain For Hire

That trip would take roughly ten days weather depending. I would ask for transportation cost from SC back to FL. I would pay my own way from FL to Annopolis. Provisions bill covered by you, along with any associated fuel cost or repairs necessary. My cost is $400/day. I typically anchor out at night and don’t use marinas. Probably ICW to Beaufort then offshore to SC weather depending. I’d be happy to discuss details when you have a date you would like it moved.

Re: Captain For Hire

We have a 35' Tiara (twin diesels) to go from NH to Palm Coast Florida -- if interested please PM or email me -- we would love to go along as crew and learn a LOT more --- we have owned the boat for 4 years and have a lot of experience, but this is a longer trip for us.
