I took this video on the way to our yearly haul out in Chumphon Thailand on a fishing boat yard. It's a bit sentimental but that's due to I was editing it in Samui hospital being very happy to be alive...

What camera were you using?

I'm using a Sony HDR-CX 350 which we bought in our company for our yacht charter video presentations. Biggest advantage is the wide angle lens which is pretty unique in this price class. Apart from good quality footage and the wide angle lens...the menu handling via touch screen is a nightmare.

I actually like the original better as well, but I was thinking with a cover there won't be any problem with the copyright - which was wrong.

For the actual haul out: After reading a few posts written by super paranoid americans on the forum for this area I want to edit that clip again and include some footage of me and my crew having dinner with the poorest of the poor -Burmese workers on a fishing boat - in between myriads of cockroaches. Not every ones piece of cake but I don't like being afraid, locking my boat or putting bars in the hatches and I consider this area as safer than most first world countries.

Ok, and here is the haul out. I did not add more footage, since my editing program brought me close to a nervous breakdown...I was happy having finished it. Any questions to that funny procedure, please ask!
