Seychelles update

It you like seclusion then this is very nice. We stuck to the islands north of the main island of mahe. Praslin was our base . We did an 8 day charter. The fist day we provisioned, the set off the next day in some steady moderate winds about 10 knots. Beautiful sailing, though a bit shifty due to the proximity of the islands. Current was 1/2 knot in som places and much more in others. There was four protected anchorages, one had w large night time swell coming through. We were hit by squalls for two days. Got caught under full sail for the first one. Reefed early after that. Winds were in excess of 35 knots. Found a protected anchorage, dropped the hook and started anchor watches. It was a sloppy night with little

Sleep. We motored to a little harbor on la digue and went out to eat. I was not feeling this well and at 10 pm made a drip to the er which was efficient and nice. Came home and dropped from exhaustion. The snorkeling wasn't that good, but with the weather being foul we couldn't get to the optimal spots. Sailing was in very short trips but we would take the long way around just to get experience. Scenery is beautiful. Tomorrow we head back to the dock. Life is good!
