Places to Sail in India?

Looks like I'm flying to Chennai (east coast of India) and Mumbai (west coast of India) in the very near future. Staying about 7 days. Anyone know where I can get some sailing in?

Here's one possibility ::: Royal Bombay Yacht Club ::: Make sure that you are properly dressed in white ducks.

I'm thinking a week and a half for the whole trip, including travel. By the time you account for getting there (and back), that trims it to about 7 days in India.

Any CF members based in India??

In case you have not been there before (your system hasn't experienced their variety of bugs):

Montezuma is alive and well in India. It would be a good idea to get a precription for an intestinal antiseptic (not the Immodium AD type of stuff) and start taking it a couple of days prior to departure. It'll help make the most of your seven days on location.

Yes, I have to get all sorts of shots before I go. And malaria pills before during and after. Thanks for the reminder, I've been focusing on the other tasks to do.

There are many amazing experiences to be had in India, especially if you haven't been before; I'd put getting some water time fairly low on the list of opportunities!

Thanks RG, that makes sense. Plans are changing a bit. Haven't left yet. It looks like I'll only be there for 5 days, which makes doing some sightseeing difficult. I do plan to see some of the local places wherever I am. Unfortunately, getting some water time is out.
