I need advice on how available drinking water and/or good bottled water is on the West coast of Madagascar. we plan to travel up from Richards Bay to Nosy Be and this information would be useful to know - thanks - brian

When are you planning on leaving for Madagscar ?
We have a group of 6 yacht all planning on leaving Richards Bay around the middle to end of May 2017 . Most of us have watermakers , those that don't are looking at making diy ones fro karcher pumps etc .
With regard to water you can get up the northern parts as well as in the main ports on the way up .
Yes , water is a bit of a problem so you will have to take extra in jerry jugs and use it sparingly .
