But if anyone else is interested, go to Galle, Sri Lanka. It's by far the most heavily visited port by yachts in South
Asia, though occasionally I saw
boats anchored off Cochin (Kerala) and Panjim (Goa) in
India.
The
boats in Galle will mostly be headed west to the Red Sea and to
Africa (Dec-March) or south to
Chagos, but then in lesser numbers will start sailing the other way, to the Andaman, before the tropical storm season.
