Has anyone cruised the stretch of the southeastern coast of South Africa known as the Garden Route? If so, can you please relate some points of interest and/or any information that might be useful to cruisers headed there?

The "Garden Route" is from about Knysna down towards Cape Town.

well I am eager to hear about this region. All I know is that the seas are terrible that side. How do people sail west to east with such strong current agianst them?
