Does anyone have any reasonably up to date info / experience on the requirement to present a YF vaccination certificate on checking in to any the island groups across the pacific?
I'm not after a discussion on the good sense of being vaccinated. We have had the inoculation but have lost our certificates and it will be a) tricky and b) expensive to get duplicates.
I lived, worked and traveled extensively overseas and always carried a vaccination card but only once was ever asked for one. It was in Borneo in the sixties when we were stopped at a road block. The area we were entering was experiencing a cholera epidemic. When we could not produce the card they just gave us another shot.
