Hi.

Does anyone have a clever way of getting cheaper flights out of the Pacific islands. Is one cheaper to fly back to the UK from. Is it better to go to New Zealand or the States ?

Im struggling to find a flight back to the UK from Tahiti in July to go to my friends wedding. Im the best man so cant really send my appologies.

My crew flew out from American Samoa last July to the UK... US$1500 one way.. via Hawaii-LA-NY... bludi long trip
I came Melbourne-London AUD$1245 in Dec...
Don't think there is a 'Cheap Way'... anymore.

Hawaiian airlines flies once a week from Papeete to Honolulu on the weekend. I haven't found them.to be a bargain, just another option.

Dont use agents!! Use budget airlines via their websites. I did asia last year and took about ten flights over as many weeks. Not one was bought via an agent. I spent hours and hours researching airports, airlines and who flies where and when. I saved a small fortune.

Usually you can go to an airports website and see the schedule. From there you find the budget carriers. Then move to the carriers site and so on and so forth. From Tahiti you may find Brazil then Uk is a good option. Even via mexico if there are connections.

Unless there was super cheap deals I wouldnt go via NZ or Aus. Its 24hrs to Uk from downunder via at least one to two stops. (Either bankas/singapore/KL then Dubai)
