Hi Chris
Tell me the details about your boat. Do you have a visa in Cambodia? How many days do you want to be in Sihanoukville? For a short time you can get the show-pass (so-pass) 5 usd / week per person. But it is really only in the province of Sihanoukville.

Hi folks, thanks for the interest. But we're not even in Thailand yet! Plan to arrive there mid March... Using those tail winds you talk about it would seem, although I'd thought the wind would be turning towards the nose, which we prefer. So it's not all bad going around the wrong way!

Anyaway, we totally plan on taking our time when we get there... Mosey on around for a bit. So far we did four months in Oman and four in India... Taking it slowly suits us! But hope to cross paths with you all... This is so much fun!

Hi

My boat is an oceanis 34. Dleivered into Pattaya a few months ago.Looking forward to decent run for her.

Visa's still not finalized yet. Sounds like your arrangement would suit at this stage. We will only be in Sihanoukville for a few days at this stage.

Look forward to meeting you.

Hi Andrey

Don't worry about your English. I left School at 14 and never learned to read or write properly! I am now 57, I am lucky the internet has made things easier.

We are almost the same age, I am 55 years old. But I'm a little Internet when you need to talk live on the wharf. I well understand when spoken slowly, but many Australians, New Zealanders and Americans speak English incomprehensible to me. Slang and accent ... I'm sweating and pale, but not a damn thing I do not understand ....

Let's all learn the Russian language! It is much easier to Chinese!

Nice to meet you, I am new here and interested in buying a boat to cruise between Thailand and Cambodia.

I guess that if the boat must be purchased in the region, Thailand is a better choice ?

Thank you for your posts.

Yes, Thailand or even Malaysia is the best place to buy boats in that area.

There are plenty of boats around Phuket, Pattaya and Langkawi etc.
