Re: Singapore to Phuket

Thanks again to everyone for the great information

I am waiting for my pal to arrive from the U.S. Looks like we will set off on the 30th. Passageweather from the GFS model showing flukey variable light winds day after day -- looks to me like a lot of motoring, but I guess we'll see!

Dash me with amorous wet . . . . I can repay you."

Viet Nam still has concerns about Typhoon Phanfone n the S China Sea (aka East Sea, because it's east of, well, Viet Nam): https://vietnamnews.vn/society/57039...-east-sea.html

The most recent runs of the usual numeric models suggest the influence of Phanfone on the NE Monsoon will be v close to zero in 36 hours. Or sooner.

Apparently, there's a field in the MY state of Perlis that has had a giant fruit company and Instagram going on and on. See: https://www.malaymail.com/news/life/...-to-21/1822624

Horses for courses, I suppose. One person's clean undocking is another's auspicious embarkation.
