Sailing from China to Japan

Hey!
I'm soon be an exchange student in china (Feb-July) and I thought maybe I will travel later for some time before heading home. I got some expericance in sailing but im just a beginner... I would like to know if someone is heading from china to japan during july-august or maybe the begining of septmber and needs some man power
than contact me

or if you know what is the best way to find someone...

Area yacht clubs may have members who need crew for races. Once you make those connections you might be able to get on as a crew moving a boat to where you want to go.

Finding a cruising vessel you would need to look on website such as www.noonsite.com or similiar.

Not many cruising sailboats in China. The government have made it incredibly expensive and bureaucratic for both locals and expat cruisers. Good news is the flights to Japan are quite cheap.

Have taken on the restoration of the first Nonsuch, which was launched in 1978. Needs some deck work, hull compounding, and a bit of new gear.

I lived in China for a while, while there is a sizable sailing activity in Qingdao mainly as sport and Hainan as incredibly expensive short range charter, I would say for the most part forget about it in China, your best bet would be in Hong Kong.


Sailing in Japan wasn't that viable as well, berthings are difficult to get, and last I ask in Yokohama, it was only available for boats in the 30 feet range.
