Philippines Bondok Penninsula to Luzon - Which Way?

Possibly planning to sail from the Bondok Peninsula to mainland Luzon in JANUARY !!

If you were going that way, would you transit over the top of Burios Island or run down the west side and transit over the top of Ticao?

Not sure I understand your advice since we will be sailing south east on the Amihan (NE monsoon) from the Bondoc peninsula, meaning we will have already transited SE or so from Marinduque, bound, ultimately for Samar and/or Leyte.
