Philippine Typhoon Season 2018?

The typhoon season here in 2017was unusualy mild, as PB Maise and others predicted. Thanks for that.

In fact, PHL set a record this year whout a single typhoon making landfall in the islands.

However, the final two storms (we hope) of the year started unusually far north and closer to Minanao than usual, making landfall, only about a week apart and killing 400 or more.

My question then is, "What does all of this portend for Jan and Feb, which theoretically are the less and least likely months to produce s typhoon at latitudes betwen 8-10 degrees.

No need to regurgitate the well known historical stats posted in the passage notes etc.

I have studied them all. Predictions anyone?

Thanks
