Papeete, French Polynesia Cruisers Guide update

First I want to say a thank you to Julien on SV Xperimental for building & hosting the site. Thanks also to Mary Ann II and Ocean Star for collecting the gps waypoints of many of the vendors. This work is a collaborative effort by many folks.

The guide covers services and vendors and is not a "where do I anchor guide".

If you headed to French Polynesia I would recommend you download the cruisers guide to Papeete before you arrive in FP. Needing parts in outer islands is easily accomplished as all vendors are comfortable shipping to customers in the islands.

Also I am constantly updating the guide as I receive new info from cruisers so be sure to check for a current edition. Please let me know if you find additional services or updates need to be made

Good Post! Good Guide.

I have looked at this and the Panama Guide. Both informative, and good examples of community knowledge sharing.

While I have not yet made it to Tahiti as crew on a boat (but would like to do so), this guide is a good thing to know about.
