Looking for Alaska Bareboat Charter --

Hello,
I am looking for a company that will charter a 30-45 foot sailboat for myself and 2 or 3 friends next july. I have done a lot of cruising, but my friends have not- so we're not going to cross the Gulf of Alaska or anything- mainly looking for a crusiing platform to explore somewhere (advice welcome) in southeast alaska-- ?Juneau area? - Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Bob

Not sure about Alaska but there are a bunch of charter companies on Northern Vancouver Island.

I would vote for Prince William Sound. Look up Seward, and Whittier (you can drive from Anchorage to both places) As well as Valdez and Cordova as possible towns with charter boats available.
SE Ak. is a rain forest, and the sailing is up channel and down channel. At least that is how the wind blows.
PWS has all or more of the amazing, whales, birdlife, glaciers, and all. Many, many good anchorages....all around better than SE in my opinion

No I am sorry I have never chartered a boat in PWS. Google Seward, Whittier, Cordova, and Valdez. There must be something up that way.

Good Luck!
