Japan eastbound

I'm looking at possibly the 20th to leave from Kushimoto riding on the tail of the deflated typhoon (1806) just heading our way. Probably steering ENE for a week, but another low/TD could appear at any moment and mess that plan up..
At least I'm in no rush yet.

I am bumping up this post to try and get an update on how boats did in the 2018 and 2019 Season, heading Eastbound towards North America?

2018 was a funny typhoon year with many early ones in a family heading north to prevent leaving....Did anyone follow TJD's advice and go via north of the Aleutians?

Did not follow what happened in 2019 and how many boats made that voyage.??

2020 is a bust with the Virus Lockdown so I am considering a 2021 passage to Kodaik via Dutch Harbor.

Love to hear from anyone who knows those waters and the earliest I should consider leaving Japan eastbound
