Internet availability in Mexico

I’m sailing from San Francisco to Mexico starting this fall. Our plan is to spend ~6 months (November – spring) in the Sea of Cortez and on the West Coast of Mainland Mexico. I’m looking for any information or tips regarding Internet availability. I’ll be working remotely, and ideally will never be without an internet connection for more than 3 days. I can use whatever combination of Verizon cell phone plan & hotspot, SIM card, and WiFi / WiFi booster. We’ll also have a Pactor modem for occasional emails when nothing else is available.

Any information will be helpful to me as we’re planning our trip!

make sure your verizon is mexico included unlimited and no roaming. then you beat all.
mexico wifi is iffy and reliability challenged.
