Well, I agree with this. GSS is skinny water in many places and for monos this must be in your thinking all the time. Combined with narrow channels and the nuisance of the Wide Bay bar it becomes a bit of a PITA after a day or so and I find myself looking forward to an open sea passage. Roughly akin to the Intercoastal except it does not drag on as long.
