Astoria Oregon this week?
Anybody hanging around Astoria? I am up here to work/sail on my boat. If any other CFers are around, would appreciate getting to know you.

Re: Astoria Oregon this week?
I rent in Warrenton. Up a channel and as protected as your going to get on the coast. The Astoria boatyard is a DIY yard. This is a paradise for self fixers. For I 40 foot slip, I pay 93 a month. Your boat would be a whole lot cheaper and there is a launch ramp around the corner. I know where there is even cheaper moorage, but it is in the Oregon rain forest.

Newt,
Odyssey and crew went through a couple of months back on our way to B'ham. The Admiral and I stopped by Warrenton a couple of weeks ago to check out slips for next year. Saw Beth out there, looking fine.
Sure looks like a Downeast Maine Lobsterman's sort of tie-up. And, we did see your rain forest holes, too. Almost thought I was on the Tombigbee except for the temps.
Nothing like messin' around with boats.

Re: Astoria Oregon this week?
UT- the sailing is wierd. You deal with lots of current and traffic, waves come up pretty fast, and it is always changing, but I like it for daysailing. Its just advanced.
