Wish us luck!

The boat that I go racing on is competiting for first place in the division today. It's the last race in the series, and we're one point ahead of the other boat.

They are a solid, experienced crew with a fast J-35. We are a rag-tag group, and I haven't even been sailing for a year. We're sailing a sparky 40' C&C. We've got our work cut out for us. Wish us luck!

All the best it sounds like two good boats but I have to bet on the C&C, it's part of the contract you sign when you buy one. Keep in mind that sailboat races are lost and not won.

Sometimes, you lose before you even know you did. Still, we'll do our best. I'm hoping for wind tonight, so it will at least be a good race.

Great job - Hang in there. Being in first place adds pressure but I am sure you all will sail smart - Good luck.

Ugh, we had no wind tonight, and the J 35's can restart faster than us. And they always seem to find the good wind when there is none. So we didn't win, but we got 2nd in the series. Not too bad considering.
