where do you read / write reviews now

We read the reviews left by others when deciding on anchorages and marinas.
These are so valuable to us that we want to leave reviews as well.

Question: Where do you read/write any marine related reviews?

I use Active Captain or Google maps to find anchorages, marinas and services by location. I don't use Yelp or other 3rd party reviews at all. I read the write-ups in Active Captain and read the reviews with a grain of salt.

I typically need a decent sample of reviews to glean commonalities. Standout/standalone Yelp-style (1 star) complaints are ignored unless there is a pattern of them. Usually they are a long list of criticisms and when you get down to it, it turns out the server spilled soup on their lap or forgot their side salad.
