West Palm Beach water

Anyone know if people still can get water at the WPB public dock using a fire hydrant adapter? Many were doing so couple of years ago but looking for recent (2023) info/update.

Thanks,
Bill

......which was probably illegal. Water in a hydrant before reaching a meter belongs to the utility company. I can remember people wanting to fill their swimming pools from fire hydrants, and our local utility having a hissy fit.

Re: West Palm Beach water

The only places I was able to get water was
-the park at blue heron (fish cleaning station)
-marina across from peanut (snuck in after closing)
-palm beach sailing club last year but dock may still be closed from Ian, but their fees are ridiculous now
-marina right before the city dock when getting fuel

I looked at the city dock but did not find any back in December. Be back there again in a few weeks but don’t plan spending much time there. Not really a great place to hang out imho

I saw a swimming pool filling COMPANY doing this in Fort Myers with an 18 wheeler.

Filling up water from the fire hydrant to sell to people to fill their pools.

in case anyone is outraged, they were doing it at this exact location next to the Love's travel stop on the road between Love's and the main road.
