My mother came from the island of Andros which is just above you.

Growing up in Scotland, we would go there every 2nd summer living up on the terraced mountain on my grandfather’s farm. I loved it!

This island claimed to have the largest number of ship owners in the world living there and has a nice mix of architecture from their homes.

My sister who visited last year says it is still a less touristy island with lots of nice sandy bays suitable for anchoring if the weather is ok.

Might be worth researching Andros and Tinos….. Cheers…..Nick
