We're all commited at one time or another

Yeh, I'm commited and my wife has a sense of humor to go with it.
Today I am out in the boat shed for the first time this winter - it's been too damn cold here in NE. I'm playing with stuff, most of it in my head. I am working on a new prop for the boat so I decide to make a mockup of the prop to see how it fits in the apperature. I need to enlarge the apperature in the rudder to accomodate this new prop and as I am sitting there looking at this new prop made out of foam board and drinking a beer, my wife comes to join me also with a beer. We talk about the pro's and con's and my wife comments to me.

Juli : "You know it's great that you spend so much time thinking about all this stuff, it must be almost all of the time."

Scott: "Yeh, I think about all this stuff, it just keeps going around and around in my head"

Juli: "Wow, you know that's great! I was just thinking about all the things there are to think about and put energy into on a boat. I wonder if at this rate we'll ever leave dry land?

Pause:

"That didn't come out quite right."
"I have total confidence in you!"

Scott: I just smiled at her, we both laughed and I said " Love you Hun! "

It's still winter but spring is coming - I love working on the boat !! I love my wife ! And someday - we will leave and live the dream.
