Welder/crew for hire

So your in a remote country,or in US.
You see said boat that has a WELDING HERE sighn......
Would $15 a hour or trade boat to boat plus materials be excessive?
Certified b3313 code welder.Have bender to make things kinda straight..
Your power required at boat...

Am i being unrealistic in this pricing?
Your thoughts?

I would charge more than $15 per hour for welding services. Probably more like $25 to $30. But if you are in a foreign port and hang out a sign like that, you are inviting a visit from the police to check that you have the appropriate work visas.

most welding jobs are done in boatyards,out of the water on vessels,
unless it is stainless or alloy fabrication and for that you need a workshop

either option outside your home country you need a very large yacht,with a workshop,and probably a company and work visas
